Virginia Highway Safety Challenge

Pocahontas 895 is proud to be part of the Virginia Highway Safety Challenge.

Pocahontas 895 has joined the Virginia Department of Transportation, the Virginia State Police, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, and other partners around the statel to promote this important safety initiative.

Safety is one of our primary concerns for our drivers. Transurban aims to provide a safe driving environment by maintaining Pocahontas 895 to the highest safety standards, and by responding quickly to any accidents or incidents. As a company, we believe it is our role to support initiatives that make our communities better and safer.

• Always wear seat belts.

• Avoid distractions - eating, reading, using cell phones while driving.

• Share the road with cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians and large trucks.

• Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Obey posted speed limits.
